Randy Pronschinske was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Lakeville Area Board of Education in Minnesota. He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014. Pronschinske previously ran unsuccessfully for a seat in both 2008 and 2010.

Randy Pronschinske is a resident of Lakeville, Minnesota. Pronschinske spent 12 years serving in the United States Navy as a sonar technician. He is employed as a senior director of sales with Crossmark, a sales and marketing agency. He is a member of StudentsFirst, which is a national education reform advocacy organization.[1] StudentsFirst's policy agenda includes support for teacher merit pay, eliminating tenure for teachers and promoting school choice.[2]

The election in Lakeville featured three at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Jim Skelly and Michelle Volk ran against challengers Jackie L. Craig, Kathy Lewis, Mark Priore and Randy Pronschinske for the seats. Fellow board member Roz Peterson did not file for re-election.
