I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I migrated to America in 1979 and completed my Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in 1995. In 1991, my wife and I went to China for my Ph.D. dissertation research. I taught a class on economic development and took Chinese language classes. In 1995, we moved to Atlanta, GA with wife and daughter and we made Gwinnett County our HOME.

I am an entrepreneur and an author of a book "Chinese Entrepreneurs in the Economic Development of China" 1997. I worked in IBM Corporation and later I joined American Intercontinental University as a faculty member. In 2002, I started my own company named Malix I Technology and worked there till 2017. Presently I started my own business in Personal Home Care Services, named as "Apple Care Services."

I ran for US Congress from District 7, GA in 2016 and I received 214,220 votes and 45% in Gwinnett County, GA.
  • The one issue today that is most important to me is our helpless citizens who cannot vote or are not in a position to exercise their rights to vote. For example our children, they cannot vote and their rights are not honored. Right at this moment 500,000 school students go hungry at school because the federal or local government will not support school lunch for all students. In 2020 more than 1 million students will go without school lunch and not ones care about them. Then again take the example of The Trevor Project, the federal or local governments do not care about them but they want them to follow the lead of the conservative politicians. My questions to the conservative politicians, how are you going to lead the dead the childre
  • The best way to overcome the destruction caused by the COVID 19 illness is to make sure that this virus does not spread and an end is brought first by safeguarding all the citizens and also developing a vaccine and a cure. Once we have the vaccine and a cure in place. Those who were fired or injustices were done to are rehired and compensated. • I would like to help GA grow economically and as a society. At present GA is divided and we have to come together as a family. We cannot afford to have a fractured society dealing with hate, division and racism. We have a tremendous population crisis and we need everybody to rebuild our country in this civilization of Nanotechnology. Here we should remember that China-India combined has 3 billion consumers and one day when they merge as one common economy, we will be in big trouble. I will help GA to come together as a family and unite so we are productive. I will promote the economic model of "Peace via Trade!" "Peace via Trade" model will help us to move away from military based trickle down economy to grassroots micro-entrepreneur
I will help in reducing income inequalities and thus bring the income level of women to the market value based on the principle of same work, same pay! "Peace via Trade" economic model will increase the wealth of Georgia and the nation and as mentioned above, it will also save the wealth of nation that is wasted in the foreign adventurous wars and also killing our children. This will free our young talents to contribute to our economy, in the field of research and development. In this era of Nanotechnology, we need all the brain power to compete with the 3 billion Chinese and Indian populations along with the rest of the world. The savings of the nation will contribute to reduce the budget deficit and increase our wealth to pay for Universal Healthcare. With our rapidly decreasing population, we have to save all citizens from diseases and the present COVIT 19 pandemic is an example why we should have One Payer Universal Healthcare. Our 84 million uninsured and underinsured are time bombs for any mass scale diseases and pandemics. Today in America "84.2 million people - remain uninsured or underinsured."
I look up to my Mother and Father. They are the examples of hard work, dedication to the family and the country. Always pushing us to gain knowledge and serve the naiton.
To understand my political philosophy, I advise one to read my book titled, "Chinese Entrepreneurship in the Economic Development of China." 1997. I believe in Entrepreneurship and it is the key to economic development of a nation. The reason China is developing so fast is that the Chinese Policy Makers are taking a holistic approach to their economic development. Their is a grassroots movement for a socioeconomic development. The Chinese Policy maker have clearly understood that the trickle down economy is a hoax and what they need is a grassroots economic movement via entrepreneurship to create greater circulation of resources, funds, and human resources. That is the reason, I am promoting "Peace via Trade!" economic model that will increase the wealth and resources of the world as a whole and also our America.
I am a dedicated person and strongly believe in common good. What is good for nation is also good for me. I believe that I will be able to help in developing the economy of GA with proper distribution of wealth by adopting the economic model of "Peace via Trade!" (Research Facebook on "Peace via Trade!" Rashid Malik). I have extensively written on this idea since 2016. I even proposed congressperson Bob Woodall that I am willing to work with him to promote this concept.
I strong believe that I will be able to help GA to prosper.
COVIT 19 is the most important event that happened in my life time. I am 60 years old now and I have a plan to over come this crisis and rebuild our economy! The best way to overcome the destruction caused by the COVID 19 illness is to make sure that this virus does not spread and an end is brought first by safeguarding all the citizens and also developing a vaccine and a cure. Once we have the vaccine and a cure in place. The first thing we have to make sure that we rebuild our Pandemic Team stronger than ever, and secondly our respect and honor for scientists, doctors, front line warriors and experts are restored. Those who were fired or injustices were done to are rehired and compensated.

Then with cooperation of the governors, mayors, and international economic actors, we start rebuilding our and the world economy. It is not that we give our charity or take up any marshal plan but promote "Peace via Trade!" In this way will gain back the trust of the citizens and the world and we slowly but surely move towards economic development.

Now is the time to consider, if we will expand our economy from Canada to Chile and all in-between and ferry into the Caribbean. After all we have to expand our economy eventually in the future and we do not want to play a catch up game with combined economy of China-India economic might that will engulf the whole Asia and Africa.
My first job was working in the cafeteria of Student Housing. I worked there for about 2 years and then obtained a job as a Resident Assistance in the Student Residence Hall.
The Entrepreneur: Classic Texts by Joseph A. Schumpeter

I feel Joseph A Schumpeter is the father of Entrepreneurship. The book explores the idea of entrepreneurship and how entrepreneurs are the key to economic development.
Mr. Spock. Analytical and a problem solver without expecting anything in return!
"Je ankhite eto hasi lukano!" In those eyes so much laughter and happiness are hidden.

To me the song is exploring the pain and suffering of a women who has so much to offer to humanity and is unable to.
As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, one has to think globally and act locally. We have to support our local needs and at the same time we have to seriously consider the needs of our America. We as representatives, have to work as a team to promote policies that will benefit all America and meet our local needs. For example, we all need to work as a team to promote income equality and equal payment for equal jobs for both women and men. We need to support our children and the Trevor Project. These are our common problem. We have to address the problem of our living wages, affordable housing, and eliminate homelessness. Yes, for GA, I will promote "Peace via Trade!" This will increase the wealth of GA and thus our nation. The bottom line is that we all have to love our America as own family and do what is best for our GA and America!!
Yes, it is good to have experience in various fields so a person helping in developing policies for the state and the nation can various factors under consideration. Like a good knowledge of sciences, IT and sociology will help develop sound policies in the area of nanotechnology, pandemics, and cooperation between different countries.
The biggest challenge to our America is a fractured nation. We have been manipulated by foreign powers with internal help to create division, hate, and racism where many of us have learned to hate and distrust each other. A fractured nation cannot develop and defend itself from the inside and outside enemies. America does not have enough population to neglect anyone. We have less than 200,000 able human resources. We need ALL to contribute to this civilization of nanotechnology. China/India has 3 billion consumers, Europe 750 million, Brazil 210,000 and etc. How are we going to compete with them in R&D with a fragmented hateful racist nation? We need to love our America as own family! Identical! We need each other!

I would like to help GA grow economically and as a society. I will promote the economic model of "Peace via Trade!"

"Peace via Trade" model will help us to move away from military based trickle down economy to grassroots micro-entrepreneurship based economy where individuals will be directly involved with the economy to benefit and will not have to look up to the wealthy people for the economy to trickle down. In fact, trickle down economy is a hoax and it never produces wealth and prosperity for our nation.

In "Peace via Trade" economic model, we deal with other countries based on surpluses that we produce. This will provide incentives for our policy makers and the citizens to shy away from obsolete adventurous foreign wars that destroy our we
Here are some of the committees that I would want to be a part of: Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Education and Labor, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Relations, Small Business, and Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions
I believe it will be a good idea to have two four years terms. This will help to gain experience and use that to serve the nation.
I strongly support term limits. A U.S. House of Representative should serve for 8 years and move on with better things in life to serve our great nation. This gives the natural accountability and also the opportunities for fresh ideas and talents to move in.
I feel Speaker Nancy Pelosi has done a tremendous job and is a proven leader. When elected, I will seek her advise and leadership.
I have eye witnessed many situation where the helpless citizens are deprived of their basic human rights. During this COVID 19 crisis and during the border crisis, the children, poor, senior citizens and front line workers have victims of ill policies. I support School Lunch, Reparations, Women, Senior Citizens, Homeless, The Trevor Project, Disables and all helpless citizens.
