Rashid O. Santiago is a judge of the Lehigh County Magisterial District in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He was elected to this position on November 5, 2013 (effective the following January) for a term that expires in 2019.[1]

Elections

2013

Santiago ran for election to the Lehigh County Magisterial District. Primary: He received 49.49 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2013, defeating Christy Schlottman, Michael Rooney, and Joseph P. Maher. He cross-filed as a Republican but lost in that primary. 
General: He defeated Christy Schlottman in the general election on November 5, 2013, receiving 60.0 percent of the vote.

Education

Santiago received his undergraduate degree from Gwynedd Mercy College and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.[2]

Career

Santiago was previously an attorney in private practice. He has also worked as a law clerk to the Honorable John A. Boccabella of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania.[2]
