Raul has been a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ for 39 years. He grew up in Norwalk, California and resides in La Mirada, California. He is a husband and father of eight (six girls and two boys). A proud grandfather of four granddaughters and Reverend for the community.

Raul, never dreamed of running for office, but when things moved to a destructive socially and economically environment, he knew it was time to put on God’s armor and go to battle. Raul, decided to run for Assembly District 64 as it has been met with neglect, failed policies, chaos and turmoil. His concerns are safe neighborhoods, the homeless crisis, high taxes, CRT in school curriculums, open borders and drugs on the streets. Like any husband and father, there is a growing concern that is prominently visible of great concern of the direction this district is going in. However, there is hope. Raul is here to bring what is needed to this district to make a swift and effective change.

Rev. Raul Ortiz will eliminate unconstitutional mandates, protect the life of every unborn and born child, medical freedom, election integrity, honor our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights, proper education and full parental rights.
  • Gas Prices/ inflation: We the People will work to suspend the gas tax for .51.1 cents per gallon. This alone will make an immediate impact on ever California family/resident’s pocket book. We the People will work to provide relief to California tax payers by advocating and working toward reducing the wasteful spending in government, reducing taxes, and cutting business killing regulations. In these times we need a lean and efficient government that is pro business in order to help our communities thrive and help the citizens have opportunities for success. We will make California business friendly again and attract a new gold rush of businesses coming back to the golden state.
  • Crime: We the People are pro law enforcement and will work to support our Sheriffs and Police. I will work to reverse the harmful effects of Prop 47. We the People will REFUND our Sheriffs and Police departments.
  • Education: We the People will be an advocate of, and will work tirelessly for the rights of parents to direct their child’s education and health. We the Pepole will advocate for the California School Choice voter initiative. This will allow all parents to choose the best path in education for their student, it will create competition and therefore better options in education, and it will empower our students to excel.
Government overreach of closing down our churches and mom and pop businesses. Church were told when they could open up and worship. How many could worship at a service and not to sing worship songs. Totally undermining our 1st ammendment rights. Small business owners and workers were to that they were no longer essential to society. That their businesses and jobs were obsolete. You must stay home and close your business. Small business owner sold same and like merchandise as Walmart but small business owner had to shutdown. The people small business owner employed that paid their bills and put food on their tables has to stay home as well.

This is tyranny not freedom and must be opposed.
The Master Teacher. The Good Shepherd of my soul. Jesus. His example set forth in the Word of God along with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and His fruits as outline in the New Testament is what I aspire to become. More and more about Jesus. I must decrease and He must Increase.
To understand the sacred trust that has been bestowed upon one being voted in by the people into this elected office. To always be honest and true to the people that elected you. To understand that you serve them and their interest.
I understand servant-leadership. I have an extreme work ethic that I learned from my dad. The ability recognize problems and make corrections to move forward in a positive way. My ability of self-discipline of daily rituals of routines that have served me well. One of those daily habits is reading good positive books of 10 plus pages a day and to put into practice what I have learned.
The legacy I will leave behind is one who loved God with all his heart mind and soul. One who loved his family deeply and his fellow human. One who loved his country and one who served his generation well. So that one day in heaven I will hear the Lord say "Well done thou good and faithful servant."
October 10th 1982 Sunday at about 12:05pm I repented of my sins and asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and trust in His death, burial, and resurrection and asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me. From that moment on my eternal destiny had been sealed and when I die I will be in heaven according to the Word Of God. This day changed my eternal destiny forever and my life down here on earth as well. It has been an awesome journey.

The Bible because it has the power that is contained in this passage.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

King James Version

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

My next favorite book that has had the most impact In my life is "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill the principles contained in that book has allowed me to have the success I have had in business and life today.

This is easy. Superman. I even named my 10 year old son Kal-El.

I have struggled with seeing the course that our State has headed towards. It has been a March towards Marxism as our State takes away more and more parental authority. As a father of eight children (6 girls and 2 boys. Ages 33 to 4) and grandad of 4 granddaughters it's time to rise up and make an impact for such a time as this and run for office to ensure parental authority and freedoms and liberties.
It is first and foremost an office of service. Mean as one who holds public office must understand that he or she is a servant of the people who are the king's and queens of our land. With that said those who hold the office of the state legislature must represent the will of the people to the governor through written policies that truly represent We The People's best interest.
Big government and it's overreach into Californian's lives such as we experienced during Covid-19. The mandates and shutdowns must never happen again.
No benefits. We are a Republic with a balance of power so long as that power understands where they derive that power from and who they work for. We The People the true power and kings and queens of our great nation and State.
We The People are tired of career politicians who have lost touch with the average working class. A return back to our roots where concerned Patriot citizens who loved their country went to serve their country and once done returned back to their private life.

Here in California career politicians have gotten us $8.00 to $10.00 per gallon of gas. We The People can and will do better.
Yes. It is important to work with others even if you don't see eye to eye. Let the best ideas win. If one side has a better idea that would legitimately help the people then it should matter which party thought of it. It's a win for the people.
I Believe the process we have in place right now is as fair as it could be.

I have a dear friend who is a Los Angeles County Sheriff and works in a women's jail. Due to the de-funding of law enforcement the programs that they had to cut which helped the criminals in jail to rehabilitate and become functioning citizens again are no longer offered. Also the reduction of law enforcement officers. This has put a strain of the reduce number of officers to have to work 16 hour shifts go home get a couple of hours of sleep and do it all over again. They are over worked, lack of sleep and stressed. All due to cuts, mandates of the Covid-19 shot, and the lack of support due to radical left news reporting.

This has broken my heart for the men and women who protect and serve our communities.
An archeologist from New York dug down 10 feet and found traces of copper wiring that dated back 100 years ago. He concluded that New Yorkers had a telephone network over a hundred years ago.

Not to be out done an archeologist from California dug down 20 feet and found copper wiring dating back 200 years. He concluded that Californians had a massive communication network a 100 years earlier than New Yorks.

Upon hearing this Bubba from Texas dug down 30 feet on his farm and found absolutely nothing. He concluded 300 years ago Texans had already gone wireless.
Yes. It should not be one man rule. That is dictatorship.
As long as the specific comprise doesn't violate my values and who I am and who I represent. It has to be a win for the people, first.
