Biography
Ray Ash served in the U.S. Army. He earned a degree in business and accounting from Rider University in 1981 and a law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 1986. Ash's career experience includes working as a certified public accountant and an attorney with his own small business.[1]

|Born in Crockett, Texas, Ray traveled the world with his military family and attended high school in Germany. Ray then enlisted in the US Army and served honorably during the Vietnam conflict as a Military Ordnance Specialist.
Ray is the right kind of leader for North Texas. He's not East Coast or West Coast, but deep in the heart of Texas. He knows our issues and will work hard to improve lives in the pragmatic, responsible Texas tradition.
