Ray Conkin is a judge for the Sullivan County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He is based in Kingsport. He was appointed to this position by the Sullivan County Commission on February 22, 2011, to replace retired Judge Duane S. Snodgrass. Conkin took office the following month.[1] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[2]

Education

Conkin received his B.S. degree in business administration from Tennessee Technological University in 1989. He then earned his J.D. from Memphis State University in 1992.[1]

Career

Conkin spent his pre-judicial career running his own law firm, the Law Office of Ray Conkin, from 1992 to 2011.[1]
