Ray C. Smith is a judge of the Bryan County State Court in Georgia. He was appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal (R) on July 22, 2016, to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Jack E. Carney Jr. He won election to a full term in office in the nonpartisan general election on May 24, 2016.[1]

Biography

Smith received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School. He served as the solicitor general for Bryan County and the city attorney for Richmond Hill and Guyton prior to his appointment to the bench.[1]
