Raymond Basham (Democratic Party) was a member of the Wayne County Commission in Michigan, representing District 14. Basham assumed office in 2010. Basham left office in 2023.
Basham (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Wayne County Commission to represent District 14 in Michigan. Basham won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Basham was a Democratic member of the Michigan State Senate from 2002 to January 1, 2011. During that time, he served as minority whip.
Basham was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 1997 via a special election. Basham served in the Michigan House of Representatives until 2002.

On November 7, 2006, Basham ran for District 8 of the Michigan State Senate, beating Fred Kalsic and Loel Gnadt.[2]
