I'm Raymond Gerber, running for district 9 in North Carolina. I was raised around customer service and public service my entire life. I spent a great deal of my time helping others when they needed it the most. I chose to get into politics to work on change. Unlike most politicians, I will never promise something I can't fulfill. That seems to be all we hear about lately and the truth is, all we see is the back and forth bickering. ||I'm here to work for the people.
I'm strong about the financial status of today's workforce compared to the cost of living in the United States. The cost of society has gone up while the base pay stays the same and we need to look more into adjusting the rates to focus on our people rather than focusing on the amount of money we take from them in taxes. I also feel we need to take a closer look at our public education systems and find ways to better assist the class rooms rather than rely on the parents to provide items that the schools should provide. Focus on rebalancing the pay so that we can keep teachers instead of losing them.
