Reamonn Soto was a write-in independent candidate for District 6 in the Florida State Senate in the state legislative elections.

Soto did not make it onto the general election ballot. John Shaw (R), Bill Montford (D), David H. Abrams (NPA), and Harrison Arencibian (write-in) faced off in the November 2 general election.

2010

On his campaign website, Soto listed two issues he was concerned about.[1] They are:

  • Fighting Hunger
Excerpt: "According to Food Research and Action Center, Florida is ranked 12 in states with the highest rates of food hardship and includes three metropolitan areas with highest rates of food hardship"
  • Investing in Our Youth
Excerpt: "The youth in Florida deserve better learning facilities. The youth is our greatest asset to our future. The future begins with investing in the youth."
