Rebecca B. Knight
Rebecca B. Knight was a district court judge for the 28th Judicial District, serving Buncombe County of North Carolina. Judge Knight also served as a commission member on the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission.[1] She was elected to the court in 1990 and retired on August 1, 2012.[2][3]
Education
Knight received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and her J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law.[4]
Career
Before her election to the court in 1990, Knight worked as an attorney specializing in family law and child abuse cases. She also previously served as an assistant county attorney working with social services in child abuse and neglect cases.[2]
2010 election
Knight was re-elected to the 28th Judicial District after running unopposed.[5]
