| Rebecca has a passion for serving in the public sector. She worked as a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin Law School & Luther College, and as Deputy Director and General Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Heritage.
Rebecca moved to Northwest Arkansas after law school, and currently lives in Springdale. She is married to Aaron Burkes, a former Arkansas State Representative and current CEO of the Northwest Arkansas National Airport. They have two adult sons, Nathan and Nicholas, and enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking on the trail system in the area.- Small business growth and entrepreneurship are the lifeblood of this region. As a small business owner, I know the twin burdens of taxes and regulations. I will work to eliminate burdensome regulations and reduce taxes to help our businesses continue to thrive and create better opportunity for our citizens.
- A quality, parent-directed education is the pathway to development of top talent and continued job and economic growth. Our children deserve a strong educational system, and fair competition will always lead to better outcomes.
- Northwest Arkansas is attractive for many reasons including a low crime rate. I will always support our law enforcement officers who put themselves in harm's way and who work hard every day to make this a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
