Robertson received her bachelor's degree in political science from University of Washington in 1996 and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2000. Prior to joining the judiciary, she worked as a prosecuting attorney and Judge Pro Tem in various courts. Prior to her 2021 appointment, she spent 12 years serving as a municipal judge in Federal Way.[1]
