Rebecca Cervera was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 15th Congressional District of Texas.

Cervera ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 15th District. She was defeated by Dale Brueggemann and Eddie Zamora in the Republican primary on May 29, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Cervera ran for election to Texas House of Representatives District 41. She was unopposed in the March 2 Republican primary and was defeated by incumbent Democratic candidate Veronica Gonzales in the November 2 general election.[4]

Cervera grew up as 1 of 13 children in a family that was "transient and uneducated." She began work at age 11 and enrolled in high school at age 12. She completed high school while living with classmates, teachers and foster families.
Cervera worked full time while in college and graduate school.
She is the mother of four boys.
