Rebecca Vazquez-Skillings
Rebecca Vazquez-Skillings was a nonpartisan member of the Ohio State Board of Education representing the state at large. Vazquez-Skillings was first appointed to the board in 2014, and she stepped down in January 2018.[1]
Biography
Vazquez-Skillings served as vice president for business affairs at Otterbein University. Prior to that, she served as assistant vice president for budget planning and analysis at Ohio University. Previously, Vazquez-Skillings served as chief of education in the Ohio Office of Budget and Management and as an assistant to the governor for criminal justice and public safety.[2]

Vazquez-Skillings was first appointed to the board by Gov. John Kasich (R) in January 2014 and was reappointed in 2017.
