Rebecca Wagner served on the Nevada Public Utilities Commission.[1] She has been a member of the commission since 2006.[2]

Prior to joining the commission, Wagner served as an energy advisor to then-Governor Kenny Guinn and the Director of the Nevada State Office of Energy.[2] In the private sector, Wagner worked for a Nevada-based geothermal company that owned, operated and developed geothermal projects.[2]

In 1998, Wagner ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Nevada State Assembly.[3]

Wagner serves on the Nevada Public Utilities Commission.[4] Wagner has been a member of the commission since 2006.[2]

2011

Wagner was reappointed to the Nevada Public Utilities Commission by Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) on July 29, 2011. Sandoval stated, “I am pleased to reappoint Rebecca to the Commission. Her work as a Commissioner has been grounded in the law and well-reasoned, traits I know will be continued assets to the Commission.”[5]

2007

Wagner was reappointed to the Nevada Public Utilities Commission by Gov. Jim Gibbons (R) on September 7, 2007. "Rebecca Wagner has a thorough understanding of Nevada's needs and a commitment to providing dependable utilities services to Nevadans," Gibbons stated.[6]

2006

Wagner was first appointed to the Nevada Public Utilities Commission by Gov. Kenny Guinn in 2006.[6]
