Rebekah Evenson
Rebekah Evenson is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. Evenson assumed office in 2020. Evenson's current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Evenson won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Evenson was appointed to the court by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on April 28, 2020, to replace Kimberly M. Briggs.[1]
Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Evenson's appointment on April 28, 2020, identified Evenson as a Democrat.[1]
