Kennedy was defeated by incumbent Steve Womack.[1] Kennedy ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas' 3rd District. She faced incumbent Steve Womack (R) and David Pangrac (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
