Redington Town Ethical Standards Amendment, Questions 4 and 5 (November 2012)

Two Redington Town Ethical Standards Amendment questions are on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Pinellas County, which is in Florida, where both measures were approved.

The Redington Town Question 4 amended the Redington Town Charter to establish that officials and employees of the Town of Redington shall give strict adherence to all ethical standards mandated by the Florida Statutes.

The Redington Town Question 5 amended the Redington Town Charter to establish that officials and employees of the Town shall not have any personal financial or ethical conflicts as prohibited by Florida Statutes.[1]

“ Shall C-4 of the Charter of the Town of Redington Shores, Florida be amended as recommended by the Charter Review Committee made up of five citizens of the Town, and enacted by the Town Commission pursuant to Ordinance No. 12-04 to provide that officials and employees of the Town shall give strict adherence to all ethical standards mandated by the Florida Statutes, as provided therein?
