A Redondo Beach mayoral election was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, to elect the 29th mayor of the City of Redondo Beach.
The incumbent mayor was Mike Gin. Gin was elected to his first four-year term as mayor in 2005, and he was re-elected in 2009. Gin was ineligible to run again because of the city's term limits. Steve Aspel won in a runoff election against Matt Kilroy, held on May 14, 2013.
The position of mayor of Redondo Beach is nonpartisan, as per Section 6 of Article II of the California Constitution.
The deadline to file to run for the office was December 7, 2012.
