Reggie Blackledge was a 2015 Democratic candidate for District 41 of the Mississippi State Senate.

Blackledge was a 2014 candidate for the Thirteenth Judicial District in Mississippi.[1]

Blackledge graduated from the Jones County Community Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in 1988. He attended Jones County Junior College from 1985-1987. In 1997 he earned his B.S. from the William Carey College. He earned his J.D. from Mississippi College in 2001.[2]

In addition to his legal career, Blackledge has authored a book titled Lines of Gray. He also writes poetry. Prior to attending law school, he worked for ten years as a radiologic technologist.[2]

Elections for the Mississippi State Senate took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015, and the general election was held on November 3, 2015. Incumbent Joey Fillingane was unopposed in the Republican primary. Fillingane defeated Blackledge in the general election.
