Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Gonzales' campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Education: I believe all American children should be educated before any one else. If they are to compete in the business world, they must receive the benefit of those who have paid their fair share of taxes. In my opinion, it is not right for American children to play second fiddle to foreign children.
  • Housing: In District 18, my opponent has not pushed for economical growth. I propose to bring in small and big businesses to the 18th Congressional district by going out and giving the businesses tax breaks. This will provide the opportunity of growth for individual families so they can share in the American dream of owning their own home.
  • Healthcare: I will fight to appeal Obama Care which is a heavy burden on American people.
  • Environment: I believe that we should protect the environment for our children, grandchildren and their children.
  • Business: There is a need for the United States to be self sufficient in oil, gas and coal production. This would open the floodgates to more economic growth and jobs for all Americans.
