Regina Arditti was the judge of Texas District 448.[1] She served from 2009 through 2012.[2]

Judicial misconduct allegations

Arditti was suspended from the bench without pay, pending a nepotism trial scheduled for July 26, 2010. She was accused of conspiring with another judge to hire each others relative.[3] Arditti was scheduled to plead guilty on June 4, 2010, but in the end she maintained her innocence.[4] On May 11, 2011, a jury acquitted Judge Arditti on all charges against her. Her suspension was officially lifted on May 12, 2011.[5]
