Regina Ashford Barrow (Democratic Party) is a member of the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 15. She assumed office on January 11, 2016. Her current term ends on January 10, 2028.

Barrow (Democratic Party) won re-election to the Louisiana State Senate to represent District 15 outright in the primary on October 14, 2023, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Barrow is a former Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing District 29 from 2005 to 2016.

On October 22, 2011, Barrow won re-election to District 61 of the Louisiana House of Representatives. She defeated Edmond Jordan (D) in the October 22 primary. Because Louisiana uses a blanket primary system, a candidate can be declared the overall winner of the seat by garnering over 50 percent of the vote in the primary.[4]
