Regina Gillespie was a 2014 candidate for the 23rd Judicial District of North Carolina.[1]

Gillespie ran for election to the 23rd Judicial District.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 18.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Donna L. Shumate, Tracie McMillan Jordan, Fred Bauer, and Robert Crumpton. [2][1]

Gillespie received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1993.[3][4]

Career

Gillespie worked as a paralegal, mortgage banker and insurance company manager prior to starting her legal career. After graduating from law school, she went to work with Attorney Sarah S. Stevens. In 1995, she started her own law firm.[4]
