|My experience taught me valuable negotiating, communication, stakeholder engagement, regulatory, and policymaking skills that I will use in Congress. I understand the importance of having a representative who will work for the "people" when interacting with local, state, and federal government. Many times, government is focused on developing a strong tax base for maintaining the "status quo" and not for the benefit of the community. As the endorsed AFL- CIO candidate, I will be a champion for the people, not the powerful.
CA 42 is the growth center for the next 20+ years. This will mean increased traffic, additional strain on our energy and water infrastructure, a negative impact on our air quality, increased demand on our school districts, and police/fire resources. My vision is to protect the constituents and work with our local, state, and federal governments to create solutions for sustainable growth that doesn't raise taxes beyond the ability of our residents to pay.
To ensure our region has the resources needed to meet the challenges ahead, we need a leader who has the experience to lead in DC.- I Will Be The Representative for Everyone in CA District 42 - Focusing on the Issues that Matter to The Residents
- I have over 30 years experience in housing, infrastructure & development, health insurance, sustainable & clean energy

It was an education about how horrible women's lives were in the 1920s without access to birth control and safe, affordable abortions. This book had a huge impact on my personal opinion about abortion.
