Reginald Rushin was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1986 to 1990. He graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. His career experience includes working as an insurance broker.[1]

I was educated in the Atlanta Public School system, and a graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. A United States Marine Corps veteran, embodying the values of loyalty, discipline, and leadership. Serving as the Chairperson of Neighborhood Planning Unit-P (NPU-P) for 14 years and Vice Chair for five years, I advocated for economic growth, public safety, healthcare access, and park improvements.
As a seasoned insurance professional, I have worked with families facing medical hardships, ensuring they received the necessary medical coverage and relief.- Responsive and Solution Driven Leadership Putting people first is essential for the success and advancement of District 11. My proactive approach will effectively engage residents and ensure their voice is heard.
- Collaborative Community and Economic Development Prioritizing community engagement, strong partnerships, fighting for livable wages, people centered growth, and environmental justice will be critical to the sustainability of District 11.
- Creating Safer Neighborhoods Working with city public safety partners, I have tirelessness explored solutions to combat crime and ease residents concerns about safety in their homes. I'm committed to creating a community where everyone feels secure and protected.

Marines work together as a team, relying on each other to accomplish their missions. This experience has taught me the importance of collaboration and camaraderie.
