Biography
Remi Bald Eagle was born in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. He served in the U.S. Army from 1992 to 2014. He obtained an associate degree from Trinity Valley Community College. His professional experience includes working in intergovernmental affairs and as an environmental project supervisor, a senior political advisor, and a policy analyzer. As of 2020, Bald Eagle was the vice commander of Post 308 of the American Legion and a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Kit Fox Society and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).[1]

- Public participation is important during our decision-making process and ensures that we know what The People want from us. We must listen. We must learn. And we must act on what the public needs.
- Diversity, government should represent The People. I recognize the diverse human terrain of our constituency and stand ready to represent them all.
As a disabled veteran I am passionate about taking care of our warriors who have sacrificed body and soul for the causes for which we commit them to action. Our brave women and men who have answered our country's call have sacrificed so much for our lives. We must take care of those who have taken care of us.
The Public Utilities Commission is responsible for protecting the environment and plays an important role in assisting the agriculture industry in getting products to the market. The office is responsible for regulating essential services to residents of South Dakota.
