  • I believe the environment and the land are the most important silent constituencies in the decision-making process of government.
  • Public participation is important during our decision-making process and ensures that we know what The People want from us. We must listen. We must learn. And we must act on what the public needs.
  • Diversity, government should represent The People. I recognize the diverse human terrain of our constituency and stand ready to represent them all.
The environment and natural resources are areas I care for on a deeply personal level. I believe that our children and grandchildren should inherit a rich and healthy planet, and that what we do today impacts their tomorrow.
As a disabled veteran I am passionate about taking care of our warriors who have sacrificed body and soul for the causes for which we commit them to action. Our brave women and men who have answered our country's call have sacrificed so much for our lives. We must take care of those who have taken care of us.
