Rena K. Uviller was a justice for the New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 1st Judicial District of New York. She served on this court as an acting justice from 2000 to 2007 and became a certificated justice in 2008.[1][2]

Education

Uviller received her J.D. degree from the Columbia School of Law.[1]

Career

Uviller began her judicial career in 2000, when she was appointed judge of the New York Court of Claims. She held this position through 2007, after which she became a Supreme Court Justice. During her time on the Court of Claims, however, she served as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court.[1]
