I’m a developmental specialist, educator, and working mom who has spent over 20 years supporting families navigating early learning, healthcare, and behavioral health systems. I’ve worked alongside parents in their homes, classrooms, and community programs—helping them access services, overcome barriers, and advocate for their children. I’m running for State Representative because I’ve seen how policy decisions play out in real life, and I believe those decisions should be shaped by the people who rely on these systems every day.
  • Policy looks different when you’ve had to depend on it. I bring lived experience navigating the same systems as the families I serve—childcare, education, healthcare, and behavioral health. I’m running to ensure our policies are grounded in real life and actually work for the people who rely on them.
  • Our communities are growing, but our systems haven’t kept up. I will focus on aligning housing, infrastructure, healthcare, and schools so they work together—not in silos. That means supporting the workforce that keeps our communities running and ensuring funding reflects the real needs of the people who rely on these systems every day.
  • The 26th District deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and delivers results. I’m committed to building trust across Bremerton, Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, and the Key Peninsula by making sure local voices are reflected in state decisions—and by following through with real, measurable outcomes.
I am passionate about strengthening the systems families rely on every day—early childhood education and childcare, healthcare and behavioral health, housing affordability, and infrastructure. My work has shown me these systems must be aligned, not siloed. I’m especially focused on supporting workers, expanding access to care, and advancing solutions that make our communities more affordable and resilient. I also believe in protecting reproductive freedom and honoring tribal sovereignty through meaningful consultation and partnership.
Robyn Denson, Pierce County Councilmember, District 7
