I spent over a decade of my life volunteering to help children in our state receive the highest quality education. I also have served on a statewide school board which served over 10,000 students.
Currently, I am deeply involved in Barrow County. I serve on the board of Young Life Barrow and am a member of the Barrow Area Rotary Club and the Barrow Chamber of Commerce. I also participate in Leadership Barrow and volunteer with Cooperative Extension and Habitat for Humanity.I believe my experience in the classroom, as a business owner, and through my service to our community, I have gained the knowledge and skills to represent the taxpayers of Barrow County on the Board of Education.
- I will ensure our students receive an unbiased, high quality education in a safe environment. I want every Barrow County graduate to be prepared for their next step whether it's further education, enlisting in the armed forces, or starting their career.
- I will be a good steward of your hard-eaned tax dollars. I will never forget that as a school board member, I am spending your money. I want to foster transparency and accountablity.
- I will work to ensure our teachers and district employees are supported in their classrooms and in their careers. I will support efforts to promote from within the Barrow County School System.
