I am a child molestation prosecutor and supervising Deputy-In-Charge over a unit that prosecutes crimes involving sexual assault, elder abuse, hate crimes and domestic violence.
I am actively involved in her community, participating in the Sexual Assault Response Team in the South Bay, organizing fundraisers for victims of domestic violence and raising money for children with disabilities.
I received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and her law degree from Columbia Law School. I am the only one in my seat who is rated "well qualified" by the Los Angeles County Bar Association. I have broad bi-partisan support and am endorsed by over 100 judges and elected officials.- I will continue to protect the rights of our vulnerable victims and make public safety a priority, while at the same time safeguarding the constitutional rights of all.
- I will ensure that everyone who stepped into the courtroom is treated respectfully, without bias or preconceptions, and that everyone has the opportunity to be heard..
- I will be fair and impartial, and apply the law equally to all.
However, in many cases, these programs are not appropriate where public safety or the safety of victims is at issue. We need compassion but we also need accountability in our justice system.
To be “Well Qualified,” the candidate must possess professional ability, experience, competence, integrity and temperament indicative of superior fitness to perform the judicial function with a high degree of skill and effectiveness.
