The Republican Party of Alabama is the Alabama political party affiliate of the national Republican Party. The group is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

The party is composed of a governing body called the Alabama Republican Executive Committee, and a twenty-one-member Steering Committee. A chairman is elected every two years.[1]

John Wahl

John Wahl was elected to a two-year term as chairman in 2021, and again in 2023. Wahl has also served as vice chairman of the Republican National Committee since 2023.[2]
