Retirement Laws Committee, South Dakota House of Representatives
The Retirement Laws Committee is a standing committee of the South Dakota House of Representatives.
Per the House Rules, South Dakota House of Representatives committees are assigned by the Speaker of the House with the advice of the Minority Leader. The Speaker appoints the chair and vice chair of each committee. The Speaker and Speaker Pro Tempore serve on the Legislative Procedure Committee as chair and vice chair, respectively.[1] Quorum and the timing of assignments are not defined in the rules.
