Retiring Justice Zeldon seeks appointment as senior judge

Washington, D.C.: Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Joan Zeldon, will retire from the court effective December of 2011. Upon her retirement she is seeking to be appointed as a senior judge on the court. The D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure (dead link) will make the ruling on her request. Comments from the public are sought and must be in the Commission's possession by November 3, 2011.
