Rex Bell
Rex Bell was a Libertarian candidate for governor of Indiana in the 2016 elections. He was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
He was also a 2014 Libertarian candidate for District 27 of the Indiana State Senate. He ran unsuccessfully for the 6th Congressional District of Indiana in 2012.

Bell ran as a Libertarian for Governor of Indiana with running mate Karl Tatgenhorst (Lib.).[1] Bell and Tatgenhorst competed in the November 8 general election with Republican Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb and his running mate, State Auditor Suzanne Crouch; Democrat John Gregg and his running mate, state Rep. Christina Hale; and independents Christopher Stried and Adam Adkins.
Eric Holcomb and Suzanne Crouch defeated John Gregg and Christina Hale, Rex Bell and Karl Tatgenhorst, Christopher Stried, and Adam Adkins in the Indiana governor election.

Elections for the Indiana State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Jerome "Jake" Hoog was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jeff Raatz defeated Eric Atkinson, Doug Williamson and R. Bruce Wissel in the Republican primary. Raatz defeated Hoog and Rex Bell (L) in the general election. Bell filed to run on July 2, 2014.[2][3][4]

2010
Bell lost to Republican incumbent Thomas Saunders by a margin of 10,492 to 3,846. Democratic candidate Bruce Gaylor came in second with 4,166 votes.[6] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
In the Libertarian convention, Bell was unopposed.[7]
