Prior to his legal career, Burlison served as an intern at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri from January to May of 1978. After graduating from law school, he joined the Law Office of George E. Burlison allows invasion of privacy charge against Gov. Eric Greitens to go forward
On April 19, 2018, Judge Burlison declined to dismiss the criminal invasion of privacy charge against Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R). While he permitted the case to move forward, Burlison also criticized the prosecution, stating in court that he believed prosecutors had committed ethical violations based on their handling of evidence. In light of the prosecutors' actions, he said, he would allow Greitens' defense attorneys to depose some witnesses for a second time.[5]
