Rex Shipp (Republican Party) is a member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 71. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.

Biography

Rex Shipp grew up in Joseph, Utah, and lives in Cedar City, Utah. Shipp graduated from South Sevier High School in 1974. He earned a B.S. in industrial technology from Southern Utah University in 1981. His career experience includes working as a machine operator and manager at Morton Metalcraft and as a financial advisor with Cambridge Financial Center.[1][2]

Shipp became a member of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the National Association of Health Underwriters.[3]
