Judge Reyna Morales is the first Guatemalan immigrant appointed to the bench by Gov. Evers in Wisconsin. Reyna is a mom, a community member, and an experienced litigator. Before her judicial appointment to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court Reyna spent over two decades working at the State Public Defender's Office fighting to ensure justice for the citizens of Wisconsin.

Reyna has been a long time resident of the city of Milwaukee. Reyna received her law degree from Marquette University Law School. Before being appointed to the bench by Gov. Evers Reyna was a well-known, respected litigator with the State Public Defender's Office.

​Reyna has always been active in the community, Reyna spends her free time volunteering in various local organizations, mentoring students, and judging Mock Trial Competitions.

​Reyna's life experiences provide her a unique perspective and appreciation of the law. Reyna is a native Spanish speaker and she understands how important it is for all individuals to feel represented in the legal system.
