Rhode Island Bail, Constitutional Amendment 12 (1986)

The Rhode Island Bail, Constitutional Amendment 12, also known as Question 12, was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment authorized courts to deny bail to those accused of selling or distributing controlled substances punishable by 10 years or more in prison.[1]
