Rhode Island Proposal 1, also known as the Constitutional Convention question, was on the November 6, 1984 election ballot in Rhode Island as an automatic ballot referral, where it was approved.

The approval of Proposal 1 led to the state of Rhode Island holding a constitutional convention in 1986.[1]
