The Rhode Island Ethics in Government, Constitutional Amendment 6, also known as Question 6, was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment adopted more specific standards for impeachment, established an ethics commission, charged the state legislature with adopting limits on campaign finance and enacting a public campaign fund.[1]
