The Rhode Island Felon Officeholding and Voting, Constitutional Amendment 10, also known as Question 10, was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment would have banned felons and those convicted of some misdemeanors from holding office from three years following the completion of their sentences. It would have also restored felons' voting rights upon completing their sentences.[1]
