The Rhode Island Four-Year Term and Recall, Constitutional Amendment 4, also known as Question 4, was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment set the terms of state executive and legislative officeholders at four years and subject them to recall.[1]
