The Rhode Island Healthcare Premiums for State Officials Amendment was not on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Rhode Island as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure, upon voter approval, would have required senators, representatives and “general office holders” to contribute 20% towards the premium for health care coverage paid for by the state.[1]
