The Rhode Island Self-Help Housing Authority and Mortgage Fund, Proposal 6 was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was defeated. The measure would have created a state self-help housing mortgage insurance fund and a housing authority to administer it.[1]
