The Rhode Island Suffrage, Proposal 2 was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 6, 1984, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment would have allowed those convicted of a felony to regain the right to vote upon completion of their sentences.[1]
