I'm an Army veteran and Texas mom fighting for all families in Texas U.S House district 14 and beyond.
  • I will defend reproductive rights.

  • I will fight for Veterans rights.
  • I believe in common sense gun safety.
I have gone through the worst of trials, having to bury a child due to gun violence. Since then, I've turn my pain into purpose and volunteered at the state and Federal level. I helped pass the Bi-Partisan Build Safer Communities Act and the Texas Law, SB 435. I am very passionate about helping people.
You should be accountable to your voters, hold town halls, help them find resources, and pass bills that benefit your district.
I would like to leave a legacy that despite losing a child to gun violence, I tried to make the world a better place and prevent more children from being lost to this same cause.
My first job after school was working at McDonalds.
I think the greatest threat to our nation is the current GOP and MAGA Donald Trump extreme politics.

Campaign website

Hart’s campaign website stated the following:

Issues

Gun Safety
My family and I lost our 14-year-old daughter in a school shooting. Now, I’m fighting to make sure no one else loses a child to gun violence. We all know that gun violence is preventable. That’s why I’ve spent the last six years fighting for safer gun storage laws, and it’s why I’ll keep fighting for common sense gun laws in Congress.

Veterans
As a disabled military veteran myself, I know how often veterans living in our district are underserved and overlooked. While the VA has improved, we can do even better. It’s time to guarantee our military veterans receive better access to doctors and medical facilities, improved pension plans, and better long-term benefits.

Healthcare
I believe that all women deserve the right to make their own healthcare decisions. In Congress, I’ll fight to defend a woman’s right to choose and work to pass federal laws to codify Roe v. Wade. Pregnant women in Texas shouldn’t have to flee our state to receive life-saving medical treatment.[2]
