Ricardo Caballero (Democratic Party) was a member of the New Mexico Public Education Commission, representing District 1. Caballero assumed office in 2017. Caballero left office on December 31, 2020.

Biography
Caballero is the National Parliamentarian for the League of United Latin American Citizens.[1]

Caballero was elected to District 1 of the New Mexico Public Education Commission on November 8, 2016, and was sworn into office in January 2017.[2] He left office in 2020.

Caballero was the only Democratic candidate who filed to run in 2016 for New Mexico Public Education Commissioner in District 1. He was unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 7.
No Republican candidates filed to run, leaving Caballero unopposed in the November 8 general election.[3]
