2016
Four of the seven seats on the United Independent School District school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. In District 1, incumbent Ricardo Molina defeated challenger Gilberto Aguilar Jr. Incumbent Ricardo Rodriguez won re-election against challenger Sergio Camarillo in District 2. In the race for District 4, Ramiro Veliz III defeated incumbent Rolando Arriaga and fellow challenger Juan Molina Jr.. District 7 incumbent Judd Gilpin defeated challengers Francisco Castillo and Dolores Medrano.[1]
